February 10, 2007 Solo & Ensemble
performances. Dakota Band students took
30 First Division ratings and 35 Second Division ratings. Students who earned First Division ratings
have the option of competing at the State level on March 24, 2007 at Port Huron
North High School.

Three
varsity choir members have been accepted to the “All State Honors Choir”. Ashlyn Brady, Kyle Ball & Brandon
Pemberton are part of a group of 100 high school students from across Michigan
who were selected to perform in the State Honors Choir in Grand Rapids.
On
February 2, 2007, Dakota Choir students earned 45 blue and 30 red ribbon medals
at the District Solo and Ensemble Festival in Oxford.
