Band              Ms. Risa Hsu -   Director

 

February 2008

February 9--MSBOA District Solo & Ensemble.  Students received 26 blue 1st division medals and 30 red 2nd division medals. 

Mandatory Florida trip rehearsals:  February 18, 25, March 3, 5, 10, 17 and 19.

February 21 Pre-festival concert 7:30 p.m. DHS auditorium.

February 29—MSBOA District Festival at Anchor Bay High School.

Upcoming Events:

            March 4 mandatory Florida trip meeting.  Chaperones meet at 7:00 p.m., students and parents meet at 7:30 p.m.

            March 15 MSBOA State Solo & Ensemble at Port Huron Northern. 

            April 8—Band Scholarship auditions.

 

Choir              Mrs. Sue Catanese – Director

 

February 2008

            February 18—Pizza Kit money and orders due.

            February 28—choir workshop at CVHS from 3:00-5:30 p.m.  Mandatory for varsity choir students. 

 

 

Upcoming Events:

            March 1—Women’s Choir Festival at U of M.

            March 5—Pre-Festival Concert at 7:00 p.m. in DHS auditorium.

            March 6 and March 7—District Choral Festival at Stoney Creek H.S.

            March 10—Pizza Kit delivery

            March 18—School House Roxx auditions after school in the choir room .
