September 19 2011 Fine Arts Report

The Marching Band Performed at the Andover Invitational with 4 other schools.  The other schools were Stoney Creek High School, Andover, Troy and Lahser High School.  The bands performed and marched on the field and all of the bands were awarded Trophies. 

The Dakota Marching Band participated in the Richmond Good Old Days Parade and will be participating in this years Thanksgiving day Parade.

Mr Moses said The choir is underway with planning the 2011 Fashion Show "Dakota Struts Into a Broadway Fashion Revue". The event will be Monday November 7th @ Zuccaro's Banquet Hall beginning at 5:30pm. Proceeds are benefiting the choir traveling to perform in a Broadway Festival in New York City.

Ms Schmidt said

DHS dram is putting on the show Grease Feb. 9^th, 10^th and 11^th of 2012.

We will have an informational meeting for student on Sept. 27^th and then students will audition the 5^th, 6^th and 7^th.
