Christie Forbes-Green addressed the general membership explaining that the booster board does not take the decision to close concessions lightly. She asked parents to please consider volunteering their time to work concessions and keep concessions open for the Freshman, Junior Varsity and Varsity games during Dakota’s sports season.

Mary Ann reported on the October 7, 2010 CAC meeting:

Lee Ann Soulard reported that her husband has concerns about high school students crossing 21 Mile Road without crossing guards present in the early morning hours before sunrise. John Briningstool reported that the crossing guard shifts begin at 6:45 a.m. He reported that the Sheriff Department will begin writing J-walking tickets to help deter illegal and dangerous crossing situations. Mr. Briningstool addressed the parents and encouraged them to write letters to the Township and the County Road Commission about the dangerous situation and the needs for a resolution.
