Minutes from last General Membership Meeting were
approved.
Treasurer’s Report:
Checking balance is
$17,928.85, Savings Balance is $29,430.18.
Donations Pending: $5,961.30. Balance:
$41,397.73.
Treasurer’s Report was approved.
Administration:
Parent/Teacher
conferences will take place Wednesday and Thursday. Friday is ˝ day for students.
MME testing will take place this week.
School Board approved holding off 1 year on the 9th grade
centers. Administration is working on
plans for next year.
Student Report:
Prom
Tickets will go on sale March 29th and 30th. Tickets are
$50 each; the prom is scheduled on Friday, May 11th. MORP (PROM
spelled backwards) Dance will take place on March 30th. Aniuska introduced her replacement for next
year. Dom Nanni will be Student
Representative for the Boosters.
Service Report:
NHS held a
general membership meeting on March 1st. Key Club will have officer elections on Tuesday, March 6th. Es De Moda held a pizza party on March 5th.
Discussed the fashion show and an upcoming fundraiser.
Fine Arts Report:
BAND: March 24th is State and
Solo Ensemble. Bingo fundraiser held every Saturday, 10:30 am.
CHOIR: Festival workshop on March 6th.
March 8th was pre-festival at Dakota. March 16 and 17 the Choir and
Band will have their All-Night Party from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am. March 27, School House Roxx auditions will
take place from 2:30-4:30 pm.
WINTER GUARD: March 17th competition
at Troy Athens. March 25th competition in Southgate and March 31st
is State Finals at Saginaw Valley State Uni.
DRAMA: Upcoming events: Spring production
of “Charlotte’s Web”
Sports Report:
Basketball
District champs at the Grand Blanc tournament
First track meet is April 19th.
Dakota Wear:
Eliminating
next year. Booster’s will sell-out
merchandise the remainder of this year.
Craft Show:

applications have been returned. The craft show is scheduled for November,
2007.
Donation Requests
1) DHS Administration requested $5,000 for
the Student Scholarship Fund. Ten $500
scholarships will be awarded to 2007 seniors.
Seniors applying for the scholarship will need to meet the following
criteria: Student involved in extra-curricular activities (sports, fine arts,
etc) and a parent actively involved with the DHS Booster’s whether they attend
Booster meetings or volunteer for school events. – Board Approved, goes to General Membership vote (General
Membership APPROVED)
2) Varsity Baseball is requesting
$2,000 to purchase baseball equipment.
The $2,000 is divided into 4 components: (General Membership APPROVED all)
a. $890.20 to replace old screens used
to hit baseballs into. Screens are for
indoor use. – Board Approved, goes to
General Membership Vote.
b. $443.33 to purchase 5 dozen pitching
machine balls and buckets for indoor use.
Board Approved.
c. $351.84 to purchase weighted
training bats to use at practice. – Board Approved
d. $332.72 to purchase hitting and
batting tees. – Board Approved.

SANP spring
craft show will be on Saturday; March 24th and the committee is
looking for volunteers. Volunteers
