Treasurer’s Report:
Checking balance is
$43,387.08, Savings Balance is $4,322.48.
Donations Pending: $2,821.44. Balance:
$47,709.56.
Treasurer’s Report was approved.
Administration:
Transistion from fall to winter sports. Congratulations and thank you to Mike
Fusco for doing a great job coordinating the fall sports. Progress reports will
be mailed out on Friday. Choir Concert on Wednesday. Building Trades dedicated
a home to Habitat to Humanity. Merit Awards, $2,000 immediate credit and $2,000
after 2 year college. Professional Development Day is Jan. 15th, no
school for students.
Athletic Department: Macomb Daily named Coach Giannone Football Coach of
the Year! Dakota Coaches honored by Board of Education and Macomb Township. The
Township plans to place new signs at the Township entrances, for the 2006
Football Championship. Senator Sanborn
presented awards to the DHS Football coaches in Lansing. All-State picture
boards have been updated near the gymnasium.
Student Report:
None
Service Report:
Key Club held meeting on 12/5.
NHS Holiday Workshop is 12/19. Helping teachers in elementary schools
with Christmas projects. NHS Fundraiser will be held on 12/11 and 12/13 at
Ram’s Horn, Lakeside Circle to help raise money to kick cancer.
Inclusive Underground holiday party is 12/18.
Fine Arts Report:
Band: Participating with Adopt-A-Family this holiday season. Concert on
12/2, holiday party is 12/15 and Bingo fundraiser is 12/16 at 10:30 am
Choir: Holiday concert is scheduled
for 12/13/06 at 7:00 pm.
Winter
Guard: Bingo
Fundraiser will be held on 12/2 and 12/9 at the Bingo Hall at 21 Mile and
Gratiot.
Sports Report:
Football: Dakota Cougars are the 2006 Division One State Champions!
Boy’s
Basketball:
Undefeated so far, with a 2-0 record. Next game is Friday against Romeo at DHS.
Boy’s
Swimming: Won their
first meet last Friday, next game is Tuesday at Eisenhower.
Dakota Wear:
Need volunteers to sell during the winter sport season.

Donation Requests:
1) Girl’s Tennis has requested $420 to
purchase 42 T-shirts for an Undefeated Season.
Board Approved. (2 designs will be used for the back of the shirts.)
2) Marching Bank requesting $920 for a
replacement PA system. Approved
3) Photo Department is requesting
$2,200 to purchase 10 Cannon 35mm camera kits.
Approved.
4) Athletic Department is requesting
$3,000 to purchase 125 miniature championship trophies for the football players
and coaches. Approved.
5) Challenge Day: A requested for
$1,500 for 2006 Challenge Day school event.
An itemized list was provided. Approved
